Electrical Engineer Job Description

Mission and Main Objectives
Experienced Engineer to provide Maintenance technical support & New product machinery introduction in a highly automated environment.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Support productivity ideas and review machine concepts
  • Provide technical advice and support to Maintenance department
  • Machine Safety: including safety devices, Safety matrix, Facility risk assessments, Technical Files conforming to Machinery Directives.
  • Support machine installation and safety and technical buyoff
  • Small scale Electrical/Mechanical design including controls and safety circuits
  • Specify, manage and control contractor works including Planned Maintenance, mechanical & electrical services installations
  • Identify requirements for cost effective machine refurbishment
  • Budget control

You already have good experience gained at Engineer level with experience in a manufacturing environment.  Strong technical experience with practical

problem solving skills.  Knowledge of European Machine Legislation and Standards is key too ensure our vast range of machinery meets all appropriate

legal and safety criteria.

HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering
