£12,236 (£235 per week)
Increments of approx. £1,300 every 6 months (based on performance)
To increase to £20,189 (£388 per week)

The Scheme:

To become a Kaizen Innovation Apprentice you will partake in a 3-year scheme that has been developed in conjunction with NAC and a Local College. It combines both practical and theoretical skills. You will gain a valuable insight into all aspects of automotive assembly process including design and manufacture of ‘Low Cost Automation’ as well as maintenance of facilities for either quality improvements or cost savings. You’ll also acquire the skills and knowledge required to work as a member of the team responsible for maintaining the facilities and automotive tooling here at NMUK.

What you'll achieve at the end of your Kaizen Innovation Apprenticeship:

Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Level 2)
Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Level 3)
In-house training courses

Who can apply for the Apprenticeship

You’ll need at least 4 GCSEs:

Maths (Grade A-C or 4+)

English Language (Grade A-C or 4+)

Science-based subject (Grade A-C or 4+)

One other subject (Grade A-C or 4+), or equivalent

You’ll also need to be willing to learn and happy working as part of a team. Flexible and a good time keeper, you must be aged over 16 at the start of the apprenticeship.
