£12,236 per annum (£235 per week)
Increments of approx £1,300 every six months (based on performance)
To £20,189 per annum (£388 per week)

The Scheme:
To become a Logistics Apprentice, you will partake in a 2½ year scheme based at either our Washington NDS Compound or Port of Tyne, the scheme will include training in a wide variety of roles related to operational, planning and administrative activities required to deliver vehicles to our customers. As part of the scheme you will attend day release at a local college where you will study for a qualification related to these disciplines to broaden the academic knowledge underpinning your day to day duties. Apprentices who show a high level of commitment and determination will have the opportunity to progress quickly in the department.

Who can apply for the Apprenticeship
You’ll need at least 4 GCSEs:
Maths (Grade A-C or 4+)
English Language (Grade A-C or 4+)
Business Studies or IT Qualifications would be desirable, but not essential.
You’ll also need to be willing to learn and happy working as part of a team. Flexible and a good time keeper, you must be aged over 18 at the start of the apprenticeship and hold a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 1 year
