Our Sales, Marketing and Distribution departments are integral to our business and we need graduates to help keep them at the forefront of industry best practice. This scheme will provide you with a diverse overview of the business by placing you in three separate departments over a two-year period, each for eight months at a time.
Your rotations will allow you to spend time in a range of different departments within Nissan, including After Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Communications, Customer Service and Sales Operations. Your natural skill-set and personal ambitions will help determine which areas of the business you will experience.

Over two years, this challenging programme will provide you with the breadth and depth of knowledge you need to thrive within one of the world’s leading automotive brands. As well as being immersed in the day-to-day workings of each department, you will also take part in a variety of training schemes. Within your first six months, you will attend an introduction training module, which will present you with an introduction to the Nissan business and an introduction to the Graduate Programme. During each rotation, you will take part in at least one training module, designed to deepen your knowledge of the company and to hone your awareness of best practice, product ranges and our company ethos. At the end of the graduate programme, you will be supported by our HR team and guided into an area of the business that will play to your strengths. ONLINE APPLICATION QUESTION
The first stage of the application process is completing our online application form which comprises a set of questions. Your answers to these questions needs to be concise, showcase your relevant skills and experience as well as make clear your motivations for applying to Nissan’s Scheme.
If your application passes the initial online questions stage you will then be invited to a telephone interview. This stage helps us find out more about you and your motivations for applying to the scheme. The telephone interview will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure you are in a quiet room so you won’t be disturbed or interrupted at any time.
To help us get to know you a bit better prior to the assessment centre, we may ask you to complete a 1 minute video. We encourage you to be as creative as possible.
You will receive a link to complete online SHL assessments – numerical, verbal and logical. There are no trick questions so please answer the questions to the best of your ability. We advise that you do multiple practice SHL tests beforehand, to familiarise yourself with the type of questions that could come up.
If successful, we will then invite you to an assessment centre on-site at our office in Maple Cross. The assessment day comprises various activities to help us learn more about you and how you deal with different scenarios. During every activity you will have a chance to showcase what you can do, your skillsets and motivations for applying to the scheme. You’ll also have the opportunity throughout the day to ask any questions you might have relating to the scheme with senior management or current employees during the breaks. Our advice is to be yourself and as relaxed as possible.
Congratulations, you’ve got the job! You will now receive a job offer from us via the phone. Once you have accepted you will receive an email that same day asking you to confirm your acceptance of the offer. Within the next few weeks you will receive all new starter paper work and all other information you need to know before you join us!
