Our Engineering department are responsible for procuring and installing innovative solutions to achieve maximum output, root cause analysis and resolving quality issues and we supporting all areas of the manufacturing operation, ensuring seamless production of over 320,000 cars every year.
Our Engineering Degree Apprenticeship programme offers a unique opportunity to experience life working at Nissan and pick up the skills and insight you need to succeed in a career in automotive maintenance and engineering – all while studying for a full degree at the same time!
Your first year will be spent off-the-job as you train at a local college and university. For the rest of your course, you’ll work full-time as a member of the team responsible for vehicle, equipment and manufacturing Engineering within Nissan and spend time on day release at university.
There are three pathways which are chosen by departments:
• Manufacturing Engineering Practice
• Electronic and Electrical Engineering Practice
• Design Engineering Practice
Salary of £14,696 increased every six months (based on performance) to a maximum of £39,916

Entry requirements – 120 UCAS points (achieved or predicted):
• A Level Maths (Grade A-B) or equivalent
• Two additional A Level STEM subjects (Grade A-B) or equivalent
• Equivalent Extended Engineering Diploma
• Engineering Practice BEng (Hons)*
