Special Skills (Manufacturing) Apprentice - Paint Sprayer/Panel Repair

This course gives you the chance to specialise in one of two key areas within our Nissan Sunderland manufacturing plant.

As a Paint Sprayer, you’ll work in the Paint Shop or on the Final Line learning the key paint principles you’ll need to become a competent painter working to the highest quality standards.

 

As a Panel Repairer, you’ll be reacting to quality concerns across the plant to maintain vehicle quality and repair standards

 

Paint Spraying and Panel Repair are two separate apprenticeships but through our recruitment process your application

will be considered for both schemes. If you make it to the interview stage, you will be asked to state your preference

and we will use this along with competencies demonstrated at each stage to allocate candidates to both schemes.

 

 

Salary of £13,501 increased every six months (based on performance) to a maximum of £23,901

Entry requirements – 2 GCSE grades or equivalent (achieved or predicted)

• Mathematics (Grade A-C or 4+)

• The ability to commute to and from the Nissan
