Summary

As a Digital Transformation Project Manager you will be at the forefront of innovation and technology within the automotive manufacturing sector. Join our Digital Transformation team and help us to explore, develop and implement industrial digital technology solutions and data projects while working closely with internal business customers to understand their challenges and manage project delivery. Become a key part of our NMUK team and help drive our Digital Factory of the Future transformation.

Who do you need to be?

  • A relevant STEM degree or equivalent experience.
  • You will have strong skills across digital technology, data analysis and people management.
  • You have a project management experience and the ability to plan, deliver and complete several projects at the same time including the ability to effectively prioritise against business requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate daily with peers and cross-functionally, and you are able to present your ideas clearly .
  • Comfortable working autonomously, managing your own workload and responsible for meeting your goals and challenges.
  • You will have experience and an ongoing desire to learn in the fields of data visualisation, data connectivity, machine learning, Digital Twins, and low code applications such as Microsoft Power Platform.
  • You are a natural innovator with a curious mind, looking to improve processes and efficiencies in all that you do and have an analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

What will you be doing?

Support the delivery of the Digital Factory of the Future programme.

  • Manage a plethora of digital and data projects .
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to gather use case requirements and build business cases, manage stakeholder relationships throughout the delivery of the project.
  • Support the cross-functional team to define data sources from the manufacturing process and deliver use cases to internal customers realising Cost, Quality and Delivery improvements – act as the key relationship manager between the business use and the technical delivery team.
  • Promote the use of the latest digital tools, systems and processes across NMUK.
  • Lead and support R&D activities around AI, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, Digital Twin and other Industrial Digital Technologies.
  • You will apply problem-solving tools to. a variety of business challenge.
