We are looking for a time-served CNC Maintenance Technician to work on our fast paced, highly automated state of the art cylinder head machining lines. Operating in a dynamic environment consisting of three machining and assembly lines. No two days will be the same as you contribute towards a talented, highly trained maintenance team. Providing reactive and preventative maintenance, enabling maximum machine up time on our CNC Multi-axis Machining centers and automation cells.

You should apply if you have:

Qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance or Engineering
A strong CNC machine maintenance background is required, as much of your time will be spent on both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on our wide range of 4 and 5-axis CNC machining centres
Knowledge of Siemens 840D drives and Fanuc PMC controls would be beneficial
Mechanical and electrical Maintenance and fault-finding experience
Experience of Fanuc and KUKA robotics, Siemens S7 / TIA PLC is preferred, but not essential
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Self-motivated and able to show initiative

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Maintenance of CNC multi axis machines
Conducting both mechanical / electrical repairs and setup of machinery

Breakdown response
Planned maintenance tasks
Continuous improvement activities
