Vehicle Repair pathway
This pathway will see you working in either Quality Assurance or on the Final Line, identifying and carrying out vehicle repairs and gaining valuable industry knowledge in repair standards across all parts of the car.
Entry requirements – 4 GCSEs or equivalent
• Mathematics (Grade A-D or 3 min)
• English Language (Grade A-D or 3 min)
• Two other subjects (Grade A-D or 3 min), one to be a science subject
OR
Level 2 Functional skills
You will be requested to provide copies of your certificates before you start the apprenticeship – if your grades are predicted we will ask for certificates once you have your exam results.

• L2 Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship
• L3 Improvement Technician
• L2 Team Leading or L4 Improvement Practitioner

Special Skills is a two-year scheme, that’s been specially developed by Nissan in conjunction with a local college which combines theoretical and practical skills. You will gain valuable insight into all aspects of your chosen specialism. You’ll also acquire the skills and knowledge you’ll need to work as a key member of our Special Skills teams here at Nissan.

Applicants must be 16 or over at the start of the apprenticeship. The recruitment process is carried out at Nissan Sunderland Plant SR5 3NS and you must be prepared to attend assessments as required.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and proof will be requested during the selection process.
