Plastics Injection Moulding is where we use advanced injection moulding machines to create bumpers from raw materials. This area requires a team of highly skilled specialist Maintenance Technicians to ensure each stage of the process can continue running at peak efficiency.

Our Process in Plastics

Material feed

Plastic granules are stored in silos before feeding drying machines when needed

A vacuum system transports the granules to machine hoppers

Injection moulding machines

Plastic is passed through a heated barrel where it becomes molten

It is then injected into a die mould

Formed bumpers are removed using a robot

Part transfer to next process

The moulded bumper is fed to a loading station and into a stillage

Stillage is transported to a loading lane and onto Paint Shop
