DEDICATED CAREER PATHS

Fixed Term Manufacturing Staff (2-year programme)

Manufacturing staff will start on a fixed term contract with a view to becoming permanent after the completion of the 2-year programme*. As part of the 2-year programme you will receive 6-monthly pay increments, taking your salary from £19,649 to £21,832. You will also be given an in-depth training plan across the 2-year programme to ensure you achieve specific milestones. In addition to your basic salary you will also receive a competitive shift allowance and a range of other benefits such as company car scheme and private healthcare.

Special Skills Staff (permanent)

Throughout the plant we require special skills staff to ensure vehicles are finished to the highest standard. Special skills positions include the following:

o   Vehicle mechanics

o   Paint sprayers

o   Auto-electricians

o   Kaizen Support

o   Panel beaters

Manufacturing Staff (permanent)

In addition to the 2-year programme we intend to offer some permanent manufacturing positions. We are looking for candidates who have previous manufacturing and leadership experience, high levels of qualifications and demonstrate your high ability at our intensive assessment centre. This career path is only suitable for outstanding candidates and will be at the discretion of Nissan. This career path offers a salary of £19,649 rising to £21,282 after 2 years’ service. You will also be given an in-depth training plan to follow to ensure that you achieve specific milestones. In addition to your basic salary you will also receive a competitive shift allowance and a range of other benefits such as company car scheme and private healthcare.

Fixed Term Manufacturing Staff (2-year programme)

You will be able to read and understand processes, have a flexible approach to overtime and job rotation and the confidence to identify and raise any concerns. Resilient, reliable and with physical skills, you will be ready to help us continue breaking new ground.

Special Skills Staff (permanent)

You will have relevant experience and qualifications in specific roles, such as Vehicle Mechanic. You will demonstrate your ability to undertake special skills through your qualifications and/or extensive experience and use them to process finished vehicles to Nissan’s high-quality standards.

To apply for this role you must have a relevant qualification in the following: NVQ (minimum level 2) or equivalent in any of the following: Vehicle Maintenance, Vehicle Body and Paint Operations or have extensive experience within a special skills area with a proven track record.

Manufacturing Staff (permanent)

You will have previous manufacturing experience, high levels of qualifications and the ability to pass our intensive assessment centre. Extremely passionate, you will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and potentially be a future leader.
