Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Skills Bootcamp

Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses that can last up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and an interview with an employer upon completion.

Who is the Skills Bootcamp for?

Our Skills Bootcamp in Electric Vehicle Component Manufacturing offers the opportunity of a direct route to employment with Nissan’s Sunderland Plant in the role of Manufacturing Staff.

What will the Skills Bootcamp cover?

This Skills Bootcamp will aim to provide participants with the required knowledge and skills to begin a successful career in Manufacturing. Participants will be prepared thoroughly for a guaranteed interview at the end of the course, providing a seamless progression route from the programme to a potential opportunity within Nissan.

Content covered within the Skills Bootcamp will include:

Introduction to workshop management
Nissan strategy and carbon
Operations management
Practical hand skills
Electric vehicle training
Environmental awareness
Interview and application support

How long is the Skills Bootcamp?

The Skills Bootcamp will last for 2 weeks (78 hours in total) lunch and refreshments will be provided.
