We are looking for Graduate Electrical Engineers to join us at our regional Research & Development Headquarters in Cranfield, Bedfordshire, starting in September 2024. As a Digital Transformation Project Manager you will be at the forefront of innovation and technology within the automotive manufacturing sector. Support T&C EE Engineering team with new model introduction and current model process management. Work cross-functionally to plan installations of EOL (End Of Line) and Testerline systems/processes, maintain the systems, and solve complex issues regarding these processes.

We are looking for an experienced Facility Engineer to provide technical support and delivery for both Current & New model projects within the Trim & Chassis function while maintaining the shop performance requirements.

Kaizen is a Japanese word that translated into English means “continuous improvement”. At Nissan, Kaizen refers to refining business processes to raise quality standards, cut costs, and reduce wasted time. Working within the Kaizen department, you will support key shop floor improvement activities. On this apprenticeship you’ll split your time between Nissan and a local college to learn the practical and theoretical skills you need to succeed in this innovative and fulfilling role. Our Kaizen apprenticeship is a three-year scheme, during which you’ll gain valuable insight into all aspects of automotive assembly process, including the design and manufacture of ‘Low-Cost Automation’, as well as maintenance of facilities to achieve both quality improvements and cost savings. You’ll also acquire the skills and knowledge required to work as a member of the team responsible for maintaining the facilities and automotive tooling here at Nissan.

This apprenticeship combines both practical and theoretical skills gaining a valuable insight into all aspects of automotive and manufacturing maintenance and engineering. You will acquire the skills and knowledge to work as a member of the team responsible for Vehicle, Equipment and Manufacturing engineering within Nissan. In the first year of your Engineering Degree apprenticeship, you'll complete off-the-job training at a local college and University; the next 2 years of the apprenticeship will be spent on day release at University and full-time at Nissan. You will have the opportunity to work with the most up-to-date engineering equipment in the industry.
