We are looking for a time-served CNC Maintenance Technician to work on our fast paced, highly automated state of the art cylinder head machining lines. Operating in a dynamic environment consisting of three machining and assembly lines. No two days will be the same as you contribute towards a talented, highly trained maintenance team. Providing reactive and preventative maintenance, enabling maximum machine up time on our CNC Multi-axis Machining centers and automation cells.

Kaizen is a Japanese word that translated into English means “continuous improvement”. At Nissan, Kaizen refers to refining business processes to raise quality standards, cut costs, and reduce wasted time. Working within the Kaizen department, you will support key shop floor improvement activities. On this apprenticeship you’ll split your time between Nissan and a local college to learn the practical and theoretical skills you need to succeed in this innovative and fulfilling role. Our Kaizen apprenticeship is a three-year scheme, during which you’ll gain valuable insight into all aspects of automotive assembly process, including the design and manufacture of ‘Low-Cost Automation’, as well as maintenance of facilities to achieve both quality improvements and cost savings. You’ll also acquire the skills and knowledge required to work as a member of the team responsible for maintaining the facilities and automotive tooling here at Nissan.

In iFA (Integrated Factory Automation) there is an opportunity for a skilled electrician/technician from a maintenance or installation background. You’ll work to specifications and perform the in-house manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of automation equipment. Responsible for productivity improvement projects the iFA department deliver bespoke engineering solutions. By designing, building, installing, and commissioning from concept to handover we provide the business with solutions to improve competitiveness.
